Action Inquiry: Transformational Leadership in the Midst of Action

with Bill Torbert and Mary Stacey

Leadership Development Profile

Interested in assessing your leadership development? Module participants have the option of completing the Harthill Leadership Development Profile (LDP), a highly validated instrument based on the Loevinger and Torbert developmental frameworks. This instrument provides a way of understanding how you give meaning to, and then structure, your experiences into a coherent worldview and patterns of action – which Torbert calls action logics. Your primary action logic has a profound effect on your leadership approach and capability and, crucially, on the timeliness of your action.

If you choose this option, you will complete the LDP before coming to the program. We will then schedule a coaching session within the program, where you will identify your primary action logic; that is, the most complex action logic that informs your thinking and action on an everyday basis. You will also create a customized development plan.

Process:
The option of completing your LDP is administered separately from your Institute registration. Complete the LDP by taking the following steps:
1. Go to the Harthill website and scroll to the bottom of the page to make a Paypal payment by credit card.
2. Download the Sentence Completion Form and save it to your desktop.
3. Follow the instructions and complete the Profile.
4. Upon completion, attach the Profile to an email and send to Lynn Draper at Harthill. In the body of the email identify yourself as a participant in the ALIA Institute program.

Pricing:
Standard: $250 (LDP submitted electronically by April 17th)
Fast Track: $295 (LDP submitted electronically by May 1st)
