Scholarship Applications

A limited number of partial scholarships and reduced rate seats will be available for the Shambhala Summer Institute. Preference will be given to leaders and social entrepreneurs who will contribute to the international, cultural, and age diversity of the program, and who are in a position to put their learning into practice. A few of these scholarship seats are also targeted for Nova Scotian leaders. Please note that scholarships are dependent on availability of sponsorships and funds raised.

Following the order shown below, please submit your application along with a photo by email to info@aliainstitute.org or by fax to 902-425-2415. Applicants will be notified as soon as the scholarship application review process is complete at the end of April.

2. Need
Please indicate if you are applying for a reduced rate ($2000) or scholarship seat. In most cases, scholarship recipients are asked to contribute at least $500 towards program fees. Full scholarships are generally not available. Please note that we do not subsidize travel and accommodations. On-site lodging at the university residence costs approximately CAD $40/night.
