Hi Rochell,
ALIA doesn't have an ongoing presence in Second Life at this point. But we'll probably use it again for future events. Our online community presence right now is the ALIA Community network on Ning http://community.aliainstitute.org/

I enjoyed your article and wish I had been at the event described! I'm a Shambhala alum and would love the opportunity to meet up with others online. I've been in Second Life for 3 years now and love the collaborative space...does ALIA have a continued presence there?

Thanks for the wonderful summary of experience and learnings in the Three Cafés, Amy. Afterwards I was wondering how all the pieces were fitting - or jostling - as I was focussed on the Second Life cafe.

I would also note that from my perspective you modeled the best of World Cafe in prep and interactions and, of course, patience with the process. I trust that as the SL interface becomes ever more user-friendly, WC will expand in bringing international participants' insights and differences to the same table around the important common issues of our day.
